AquaFun at JBR Beach

AquaFun is an inflatable water park jutting out 20m into the sea from the famous JBR beach. It is the largest such water park in the world, with the longest and highest water-slides.

There are 74 different games to play. You can climb, jump and slide around endlessly at this colourful park.

Open: Every day from 10.00am to 7.00pm. 
Location: The Beach, opposite Jumeirah Beach Residences. 



Aventura Parks in Mushrif Park

Located in Mushrif Park, Aventura claims to be the best outdoor experience in Dubai, with climbing and zip-lining activities between the Ghaf trees. There are five challenging circuits of differing difficulty for young and old.

Rangers is a circuit specially designed for young children, made up of short, easy challenges, at a low height. Parents can accompany their children as they have fun exploring the circuit, if they wish.

Explorador is designed for families where adults can join their children on bridges and zip-lines that are great fun and not too difficult - a great introduction to the world of treetop adventures.

Aventura is a medium difficulty circuit for youngsters and adults, with both the height and complexity of the challenges increasing and finishing off with three zip lines in a row.

Extreme includes the park’s most famous 25-metre Tarzan jump and the amazing surfboard through the trees. It’s a more difficult circuit in which the obstacles are the most challenging and some of the highest off the ground.

Thriller is the most unique circuit, filled with exhilarating zip-lines. It’s not difficult but it is very high up. You can surf through the trees ending with the longest 160-metre zip-lines.

Open: 09:30 to 18:00, 7 days a week.

Bollywood Parks at Dubai Parks and Resorts

Opened in 2016 at Dubai Parks and Resorts, this is the world’s first theme park dedicated to all things Bollywood, Mumbai’s famous movie industry.

Packed with action, adventure, dance and romance, this family friendly theme park offers exhilarating rides, heart thumping live performances and mouth-watering treats.

Spread across five zones the park offers a variety of attractions, including a state-of the art immersion tunnel, a multi-sensory 4D attraction, and a live stunt show. You can even get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the international hit Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

Open: Saturday - Wednesday from 1pm to 10.00pm; Thursday & Friday 1pm to 11.00pm. All attractions will close 30 minutes prior to closing time. 
Location: At Dubai Parks and Resorts on Sheikh Zayed Road, Opposite Palm Jebel Ali. 



Dubai Garden Glow in Zabeel Park

This is a popular evening attraction located in Zabeel Park is open every evening from 4.00pm. Among the treats are an Ice Park, Dinosaur Park, Glow Park, Magical Nights, Colourful World, Happiness Street, My Dubai, Sea World and Happy Forest.

The Dinosaur Park is a favourite with children. All the dinosaurs move and roar, which can be a bit scary for the grown-ups.

As darkness falls the Glow Park comes alive with millions of colourful lights and lots of different themes from animals to flowers.

Open: Saturday - Thursday from 4.00pm to 11.00pm, Fridays from 4.00pm to 12.00am. 
Location: Zabeel Park, Gate No. 6 & 7 Area B. 


Hub Zero at City Walk

Hub Zero at City Walk is an immersive entertainment park, offering innovative experiences created in association with global video game developers including Electronic Arts, Capcom, KONAMI, Microsoft and Square Enix.

This state-of-the-art indoor entertainment space has 18 attractions, rides and experiential zones on offer, many of which were developed for Hub Zero.

It is aimed at visitors aged ten and up and includes karaoke, games, and has ample space for birthday parties and laser tag.

Several of the rides are powered by artificial intelligence and feature real-time engines. There are also an eSports LAN gaming zone, a children’s play area, three event rooms, Hub Zero and video game merchandise and themed food outlets.

Open: Saturday - Wednesday from 12.00pm to 11.00pm, Thursday - Friday from 12.00pm to 12.00am. (All rides start at 2.00pm).
Location: In City Walk at the junction of Al Wasl Road and Safa Road.



IMG Worlds of Adventure near Arabian Ranches

Here’s the place to interact with famous characters from Marvel Comics and Cartoon Network through 5D and multi-sensory rides.

Adventure Zones include Marvel, with Super Hero favourites including Spider-Man, The Hulk, Iron Man, Thor and The Avengers. There are around 15 rides and attractions such as ‘Avengers Battle of Ultron’, ‘Hulk Epsilon Base 3D’, ‘Spider-Man Doc Ock’s Revenge’, ‘Thor Thunder Spin’, ‘Avengers Flight of the Quinjets’.

Cartoon Network is another zone with rides and attractions, including ‘The Powerpuff Girls’,  ‘Ben 10 5D Hero Time’, ‘Adventure Time - The Ride of OOO with Finn & Jake’, ‘The Amazing Ride of Gumball’ and ‘LazyTown’s Haunted Hotel’.

Lost Valley is the dinosaur adventure zone with even more rides and attractions, including ‘The Velociraptor’, ‘Forbidden Territory’, ‘Predator’, ‘Dino Carousel’ and ‘Adventure Fortress’.

Novo Cinemas is a 12-screen multiplex cinema, with both IMAX and VIP cinemas.

Open: Sunday - Wednesday from 11.00am to 8.00pm, Thursday - Saturday from 11.00am to 10.00pm.

KidZania at Dubai Mall

KidZania is an interactive children’s sized city at Dubai Mall that encourages education through play.

Children work, play, and pretend in this made up town where they get a chance to be adults for the day. With more than 80 role-playing activities and over 60 city establishments, kids are able to build essential real-life skills.

Children arrive at the city's airport with nothing but a boarding pass and 50 kidzos, the Kidzania currency. With the help of town Zupervisors they head to the bank to cash their cheques before exploring the buildings and opportunities.

They can find work as firemen, doctors, police officers or beauticians, earning money that they're free to spend on a shopping spree, spa day, or entertainment.

There’s also the KidZania Space Centre where children get to experience the wonders of the galaxy, embark on a virtual spacewalk and create a space rover.

Open: Sunday - Wednesday from 10.00am to 10.00pm, Thursday from 10.00am to 11.00pm, and Friday - Saturday from 09.00am to 11.00pm. 
Location: On level 2 of Dubai Mall. 



Laguna Waterpark at La Mer

Laguna Waterpark at La Mer has four different zones, Surf, Relax, Slide and Splash.

There are five main rides as well as a pool lounge, children’s zone, lazy river, food kiosks and a store.

The main attractions include The Ultimate Surf Machine, the region’s only WaveOz 180 FloRider, an exciting slide tower including the Manta family raft ride and Aqualoop, and a comprehensive children’s zone with Splash Pad and AquaPlay Rainfortress.

A day pass to Laguna allows visitors to come and go as they please, allowing them to visit the La Mer beachfront or the restaurants on the promenade.

Open: Every day from 10.00am to 6.00pm.

Legoland Dubai at Dubai Parks and Resorts

Legoland Dubai at Dubai Parks and Resorts is the ultimate world of year-round Lego theme park adventures for families with children aged 2-12, offering a mix of indoor and outdoor attractions, ideal for year-round visits.

There are over 40 interactive rides, shows and attractions and 15,000 Lego model structures made from over 60 million Lego bricks.

Explore the six themed lands - Lego City, Adventure, Kingdoms, Imagination, Factory and Miniland - each unique in its design, entertainment and playful learning experience.

Open: Saturday - Wednesday from 10am to 6.00pm; Thursday and Friday from10am to 8.00pm.

Motiongate at Dubai Parks and Resorts

Motiongate is one of three theme parks at Dubai Parks and Resorts. It combines three of Hollywood’s famous film studios: DreamWorks Animation, Columbia Pictures and Lionsgate.

At Studio Central you can experience the Golden Age of Hollywood, with real life movie sets of New York City. Behind the scenes you can discover the illusion of filmmaking, theatrical opening shows and the characteristic executive offices of a working movie studio.

At Columbia Pictures is an action-packed land with seven attractions, including a family water ride, coasters and interactive shows where ghosts roam, zombies rule and meatballs fall from the sky.

Smurfs Village is home to the beloved Smurfs and offers five immersive attractions including interactive play zones, exciting family rides and a charming theatre show for all generations to enjoy.

At DreamWorks you get to explore four unique lands based on the blockbuster classics Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon, Madagascar, and Shrek. There are roller coasters, thrilling family rides, multimedia theatre shows and interactive play zones. And it’s all indoors.

Lionsgate brings you exhilarating thrill attractions, tasty food, trendy merchandise, and high-energy live entertainment. Here you get to experience the fast-paced, action-fuelled The World of The Hunger Games and the awe-inspiring dance spectacular Step Up Dubai, All In!

Open: Saturday - Wednesday from 12.00pm to 08.30pm, Thursday and Friday from 12.00pm to 09.30pm. Check website for winter times.

The Green Planet at City Walk

Located at City Walk, The Green Planet is a bio-dome where you can explore our planet’s fascinating flora and fauna through an immersive expedition into the tropics.

Designed as an enclosed ecosystem, The Green Planet recreates the enchanting world of a tropical forest, with over 3,000 plants and animals and the world’s largest man-made and life-sustaining indoor tree.

This fascinating place offers four levels of interaction for visitors, with animal and plant species to be seen from sloths, toucans and tree porcupines to South American plants, vines, reptiles, fish and insects.

The Green Planet is an educational and recreational facility that hopes to raise awareness of nature’s delicate balance and how precious one of our world’s oldest living ecosystems is.

Open: Sunday - Wednesday 10am - 7pm, Thursday - Saturday 10am - 8pm. Last ticket sold one hour before closing time.

The Lost Chambers at The Atlantis on Palm Jumeirah

Designed around the theme of the Lost City of Atlantis, underwater tunnels serve as an immersive experience into a lost civilisation of ship wrecks and ruins.

See sharks, stingrays, piranhas, lobsters, and tiny seahorses in 10 beautiful chambers with 21 aquariums.

For an extra fee, you can snorkel or dive with the fishes in this 11.5-million-litre tank.

Twice daily (at 10.30am and 3.30pm) scuba divers drop into the lagoon for an interactive Aquatheatre show and feeding session.

Open: Daily from 10.00am to 10.00pm (Opening hours subject to change depending on time of year). 
Location: The Avenues in Atlantis, The Palm. 



VR park at the Dubai Mall

VR park is a new entertainment complex that combines augmented reality and virtual reality at the Dubai Mall. There are 18 experiences suitable for different ages.

Some of the VR games blur the lines between perception and reality, such as the Burj Drop, where you feel like you’re diving down the side of Burj Khalifa, or Dubai Drone, a taxi that spins out of control on a roller-coaster adventure.

You can sky dive in Plummet or come face to face with camel spiders, scorpions and snakes in Dune Bash.

In The Raft players have to grab their VR guns and work together to defend the swamp against supernatural creeps, while in the apocalyptic The Walking Dead Outbreak the challenge is to survive a zombie-infested hospital.

There’s plenty for younger children, too. Geminose is a VR Carousel with beautiful and playful creatures joining in an exploration of magic, music and dance. The family-friendly “VR Travel Bus” explores cities from around the world, whilst space explorers can man their own spaceship and navigate a world full of aliens and space stations, in “RobocomVR”.

Entry to VR park is free, with each activity and experience priced individually from Dhs15 to Dhs45.
