Villanova is a new residential district in DubaiLand aimed at the so-called affordable housing sector. There are two clusters of properties, 'Amaranta' and 'La Quinta'. La Quinta is (so far) a single-phase development, whereas Amaranta is multi-phased.
The third phase of Amaranta was launched in April 2018 and the fourth in October of the same year.
The project was first announced by Dubai Properties in October 2016.
Villanova properties will include ‘cluster homes’, apartments and detached villas.
The cluster homes are groups of four houses of different types, each with its own back garden, set around an enclosed shared courtyard.
The Mediterranean style houses are designed to be family-friendly and will be surrounded by parks with walking and biking trails.
The district will have several recreational facilities, each including a pool house, children’s play areas, barbecue and picnic areas and a basketball court.
Other community facilities will include mosques, shops and outdoor seating.
In January 2017 Dubai Properties announced 'La Quinta', a collection of three-, four- and five-bedroom villas.
In December 2017 Arabtec Holding was awarded the Dh1.025 billion contract for the construction of the Amaranta and La Quinta phases of Villanova. The work is expected to take 28 months, with a delivery date of mid 2020.
