Villa Lantana is a development of 440 freehold villas in Dubiotech, close to Barsha 3, in Dubai’s new growth corridor of Al Barsha South.
This freehold community ‘combines thoughtfully designed homes set in a well-planned neighbourhood offering a wide range of amenities’.
The development was launched in 2014 by Tecom Investments, the master-developer of Dubiotech.
There are 17 villa types and 11 floor plans, including detached and semi-detached houses.
The three-bed semi-detached villas are available in sizes measuring 3,200 sq ft, 3,210 sq ft, 2,450 sq ft and 2,590 sq ft.
The four-bed semi-detached villas are available in two different layouts, both measuring 3,650 sq ft.
The three-bed detached villas are available in three different layouts, all measuring 3,050 sq ft.
The four-bed detached villas are available in sizes measuring 3,467 sq ft, 3,875 sq ft,4,100 sq ft and 4,150 sq ft.
The five-bed detached villas are available in sizes measuring 5,780 sq ft and 6,150 sq ft, both sizes offering two different layouts.
From Villa Lantana it takes roughly 19 minutes to drive to Dubai Mall, 17 minutes to Palm Jumeirah, 16 minutes to Burj Al Arab and 21 minutes to The Walk JBR.*
Dubai International Airport (DXB) is roughly 25 minutes' drive and the new Al Maktoum International Airport is roughly 30 minutes' drive.*

Villa Lantana has many schools nearby including Dubai Heights Academy at 0.6 km and Bloom World Academy Dubai at 0.6 km.
In terms of performance there are eight schools nearby that have achieved either of two highest government inspection rating of 'Very Good' or 'Outstanding' including Kings' School Al Barsha which has a rating of 'Outstanding' and Jumeirah English Speaking School Arabian Ranches which also has a rating of 'Outstanding'.

Projects often go through a number of design revisions as they progress and developers may or may not honour their original plans when it comes to architectural designs, amenities and landscaping. The images below are provided as a means to compare the original plans with the realised development.
Villa handovers were expected to commence from late 2016 through 2017, but although the project is well advanced, handovers hadn't started by March 2017.
As of 2019 the community is complete and handed over to residents.
