The project was launched in March 2006 as ‘The Peninsula’ but construction was stalled. In 2015 the project was relaunched and renamed ‘Tulip Tower’. By March 2016 only the basement floors had been built.

Facilities include a fully equipped business centre, a state-of-the-art health club, swimming pool and sauna, an aerobics fitness centre, and a virtual golf course - the only one of its kind in Dubai.

There will also be 22,000 sq ft of retail space for coffee shops and restaurant at the waterfront.

From Tulip Tower it takes roughly 13 minutes to drive to Dubai Mall, 21 minutes to Palm Jumeirah, 20 minutes to Burj Al Arab and 25 minutes to The Walk JBR.*
