The Pulse is one of the first two communities to be built in the Residential District at Dubai South. The other is The Villages.
The developer, Dubai South, is owned by the Dubai Government and is building thousands of homes, shops and offices on a 145sq km site around Al Maktoum International Airport.
Centred on a six-lane boulevard The Pulse comprises 14 apartment blocks, a cluster of 236 townhouses, two hotels, a mosque and a shopping mall.
The two- and three-bedroom townhouses were the first to be built and were handed over in 2020. Each house has a garden or terrace and separate entrance.
Also completed in 2020 were The Pulse Boulevard Apartments, a group of four 12-storey blocks, and The Pulse Residences, ten mid-rise blocks. The buildings contain compact one-, two- and three-bedroom flats, suitable for couples, young professionals and small families.
Dubai South is the first property developer to use the Dubai Government’s new ‘happiness meter’, which asks users to rate their level of happiness. If enough people define themselves as unhappy when using the developer’s website the company will be held accountable by the Government.
To create a happy community, Dubai South decided to separate studios and one-bedroom apartments in these first blocks from the larger two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments. By doing this it is hoped that singles and couples will not be disturbed by children running around early in the morning, and families will not be kept awake by people having parties.
In February 2021 Dubai South Properties launched the second phase of the development, Pulse Villas, comprising 268 units.
The Pulse Villas range in size from 1,894 - 2,720 square feet and come in two-, three- and four-bedroom layouts. The villas come quipped with closed kitchens, private gardens, maid's rooms, storage, study rooms and laundry rooms.
The surrounding community will have amenities including a sports zone which includes football, basketball, tennis and paddle tennis courts, a fitness centre, swimming pools, a mosque, as well as RTA public bus service routes to the Expo Metro Station and Sheikh Zayed Road.
From The Pulse it takes roughly 48 minutes to drive to Dubai Mall, 44 minutes to Palm Jumeirah, 45 minutes to Burj Al Arab and 48 minutes to The Walk JBR.*
Dubai International Airport (DXB) is roughly 49 minutes' drive and the new Al Maktoum International Airport is roughly 27 minutes' drive.*
There are six sub-communities in The Pulse. Learn more in the following guides.

Propsearch.ae is a Dubai property portal that hosts ads from a number of local real estate agencies. In addition we offer a comprehensive set of community and building guides to help property buyers, renters and investors learn about the areas and buildings that they may wish to live or invest in.
Any enquiries sent regarding a specific property go directly to the estate agent that advertised the property and Propsearch does not play any role in any transactions that may result. Enquires that are sent directly to Propsearch are forwarded to a trusted partner agency that is best suited to handle the enquiry.
Please note that whilst we have a large database of buildings and developments, Propsearch is not a property developer, nor an agent, nor an architect, nor a construction contractor.
