At Tamani you can have traditional hotel service for a short stay and hotel apartment services for medium/long term stay. We are living in a fully furnished three bedrooms apartment. The fees include: 1) Apartment 2) Service (2 times a week housekeeping, including towels and sheets replacement) 3) DEWA and chilling fee 4) TV more… (Etisalat package) and WiFi (medium/low performance) 5) Three parkings (no numbers, you park where you can, but you will always find a spot) Personell is kind and sufficiently capable. Housekeeping, though, do not deliver high quality services, they are quite superficial, and they ALWAYS forget to replace handtowels (!). Security guards are very efficient and very careful and kind. Tamani offers one indoor restaurant (good level), one indoor gym (not big, but with excellent Technogym equipment), one indoor pool (warm), with indoor children pool (warm) and indoor jacuzi plus an outdoor pool with seaview (low floor however). The apartment is big, with basic furniture included: which means that you have everything you need, but there is nothing more than what you need, so to speak. The quality of the furniture is average, kitichen appliances are medium/good quality. There is a small room (no window) which can be used as a maid room, with separate maid bathroom, with shower. The maid room has no TV, while you have a large flat TV in the living room (average quality) and a medium size TV in the master bedroom (average quality). The double bedroom (2nd bedroom) has an indoor bathroom, while the queen bedroom (3rd bedroom) has the bathroom in front of it, in the corridor. Living room and dining room are separate, as well as the kitchen. The seaview is fantastic: from the living and the dining room, you have a full view on Palm Jumeirah, while from the kitchen and the bedrooms you see the Burj Al Arab and the skyline of downtown and the Burj Khalifa. Everyday you can experience a breathtaking sunset view. Maybe, should they clean the external glasses more often than twice a year, it would be great. On the other hand, Dubai is quite sandy (and moisty in August and September), and those glasses will quite often be very dirty on the external surface, and cleaning is a complex job. The bulding is well connected, very closed to Sheik Zayed Road (500 meters), 15 mins walk from the closest metro station and, from November 2014 on will have its own Tram station, right on the main entrace side. Just by crossing the street, you have the Le Meridien/Westin Mina Seyahi complex, with restaurants, beaches, clubs, wellness, pools, etc... Excellent services at competitive rates. However at Tamani, sometimes ,you will have to deal with very noisy neighbours. Being this a hotel, occasionally, especially during holidays (Eid for example), you will have foreigners visiting Dubai and staying at the hotel. If you are unlucky, you will get a very noisy family, with children staying awake up to 3am in the morning, screaming and running across the apartment. If you are extremely unlucky, you will get a group of male friends who will party all night long with VERY LOUD music and other friends joining them. Which means: screaming, dancing, singing, clapping, etc... And your master bedroom and your neighbours' living room are splitted by quite a tiny wall... If that happens, forget about sleeping, even when you have to wake up at 6am to take your children to school and/or to go to work. So, sometimes you will need to call the concierge and ask them to do something. There will be chances when you will need to call Police yourself, if concierge and security won't manage to stop them. However, this is unfortunately quite common in Dubai, and it's due to the cultural mix you can experience here. Lifestyle can be very different across countries. Btw: Tamani is a no-alcohol and no-pets building. The rate is average if compared to the rest of Marina, you will need to negotiate on the number of checks. Last but not least, you can have room service, laudry included (fees are competitive).Show less
