Smart Technology
In line with the grand strategy to transform Dubai into the smartest city in the world, Silicon Park has been designed with smart technology at its core. Its amenities will include intelligent solutions such as charging docks on the streets for smart devices, smart pop-up furniture, digital play tables, and optimally designed bus shelters, shading for pedestrian squares, and other public amenities.
The residential units will have remote-controlled systems to regulate lighting, air conditioning and electrical appliances, and to control the movement of windows and curtains.
Outside, smart lighting systems with motion sensor controls will be able to respond to traffic and pedestrians.
A control centre that collects and analyses data gathered through sensor devices will provide information to enable seamless management of smart devices to improve the delivery of smart services to employees, residents and visitors.
Environmental Sustainability
The project is compliant with the UAE Green Building Regulations and Specifications, as well as the international LEED standard, and seeks to enhance environmental sustainability.
Silicon Park will use green building materials as well as solar panels and double-glazed windows to reduce heat absorption.
The project is expected to make best use of renewable energy resources and adopt measures to achieve efficiency in energy consumption.
