Marsa Al Seef Overview
Marsa Al Seef is a huge new tourist, leisure and retail district in Bur Dubai. It is located alongside Dubai Creek and runs for approximately two kilometres with a mix of shops, market stalls, hotels and promenades.
The district highlights and preserves the local heritage and many of the buildings are designed in traditional Arabic style with narrow pedestrian streets and promenades. The design was inspired by local historic districts as well as traditional souqs in Oman and Qatar.
Marsa Al Seef Amenities
Al Seef has an historic sector and a modern quarter, together occupying a built up area of 2.5 million square feet and comprising a souk, shops and restaurants overlooking the creek.
Much of the area spreads out over the Creek, with a floating market and a marina.
There are three hotels here, a 190-room heritage hotel in the Arabian quarter, Al Seef Heritage Hotel Dubai, and a two contemporary hotels, Canopy by Hilton and Hampton by Hilton, with 200 and 150 rooms.
