In December 2017 Arabtec Holding was awarded the Dh1.025 billion contract for the construction of the Amaranta and La Quinta phases of Villanova. The work is expected to take 28 months, with a delivery date of mid 2020.
Villanova is situated near the intersection of Al Ain Road, between Emirates Road and Academic City Road.
