Jumeirah Islands is a gated housing development located within the wider Emirates Living area. Villas are grouped on 46 small ‘islands', in clusters of 16 surrounded by lakes, water features, and greenery. Each of the 736 houses has its own swimming pool and garden.
The 8,000-strong community has its own supermarket, club house and leisure facilities.
The well appointed villas are large with four or five bedrooms, private swimming pools and secluded gardens. They have been designed in six different styles, European, Oasis, Mediterranean, Islamic, Contemporary and Tropical, with up to six façade variants for each style, so that no two villas in any cluster look alike. To add to the variety the interiors may be one of three designs, Entertainment View, Garden Hall View and Master View.
There are also 31 luxury mansions in a separate ‘enclave’ for those who prefer to live in small palaces.
This is a gated community of 84 four-bedroom homes, each of which has 3,600 sq ft of space and comes with en-suite bathrooms, maid’s room, study, private garden, veranda, outdoor terrace, roof terrace and a double garage. Construction began in 2014 and the townhouses were delivered in 2017.
The complex has a communal pool, gardens and jogging track.
Jumeirah Islands Pavilion is a shopping centre with 14 shops, restaurants and cafés. It opened in April 2017 and serves the residents at Jumeirah Islands and people living and working nearby. Outlets include Choithrams supermarket, Oregano, Nando’s and The Hamptons. There’s also a Round 10 Boxing Club, medical clinic, beauty salon, barber’s shop, pharmacy, and dry cleaners.
The Pavilion is flanked by a 1.1 km waterside jogging track.
The Townhouses and Pavilion are situated on the north-western side of Jumeirah Islands, far away enough not to interfere with the tranquillity of the Islands, but close enough for convenience.
