At 12 million sq ft, the mall’s total area is equivalent in size to 200 football pitches.

Underwater Zoo is located above the aquarium, and provides an interactive approach to educating children and visitors on the ecology and sustainability of marine life.
Dubai Aquarium is one of the largest aquariums in the world and has thousands of aquatic animals including sharks and rays. A 270-degree acrylic walk-through tunnel lets visitors enjoy close-encounter experiences with some of the most fascinating underwater animals on the planet. A special 'lunar-cyclic' lighting system changes the ambiance of the tank depending on the time of day.
KidZania® is an interactive mini-city that combines play with learning in a fun and innovative way.
SEGA Republic is a two-level indoor theme park with 14 high-adrenaline motion-simulated rides, an indoor spin-coaster and one of the largest selections of arcade and gaming machines in the world.
Dubai Mall also features the Olympic-size Dubai Ice Rink open to the general public and with regular ‘learn to skate’ programmes taking place. It can also host international, competition-standard events.
A 22-screen Reel Cinema is located on the second level of The Dubai Mall.
And when you feel peckish there are over 200 eateries to choose from, ranging from fine dining to casual. The mall’s promenade is lined themed cafés and restaurants, each offering open air dining with views of The Dubai Fountains and Burj Khalifa.
The Dubai Mall Zabeel Expansion is an expansion to the existing Dubai Mall.
It has increased the footprint of the mall by 40% by connecting the two structures with a number of bridges, the largest being the link-bridge which is 200m long and 50m wide.
The expansion building provides additional parking to the existing Dubai Mall as well as a substantial increase in retail outlets and restaurants.
The Address Dubai Mall occupies a plot adjacent to the Dubai Mall.
From Dubai Mall it takes roughly 21 minutes to drive to Palm Jumeirah, 20 minutes to Burj Al Arab and 25 minutes to The Walk JBR.*
Dubai International Airport (DXB) is roughly 14 minutes' drive and the new Al Maktoum International Airport is roughly 43 minutes' drive.*
