City Of Arabia Overview
City Of Arabia is a multi-million dollar mixed-use district in the heart of DubaiLand.
The project was launched in 2005 by the Ilyas & Mustafa Galadari Group with a vast masterplan that included skyscrapers, a huge wadi district, a giant mall and a theme park.
The project was heavily affected by the global financial crisis in 2008 and that vast majority of the development has not been built. As of 2019, IMG Worlds of Adventure, GEMS Heritage School and an ENOC petrol station are the only completed buildings, with the landmark Wadi Tower nearing completion.
A few of the sub-components of the masterplan were started but have since been put on hold.
- The project was launched in March 2005.
