Al Barari Overview

Al Barari is a lush, green, opulent gated community in Nad Al Sheba on Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road. This project set out to recreate a European garden in the desert, indeed the name itself means ‘the wilderness’. That it succeeds is a testament to the vision of its creator, Zaal Mohammed Zaal, who lives on the estate with members of his family who manage the gardens and facilities.

Eighty percent of the development has been reserved for carefully tended themed gardens, botanic hideaways, naturally landscaped lakes and freshwater streams. Set among the gardens are 217 high-end luxury villas, each with its own swimming pool, terraces and private garden.

Three more recent phases complete the Al Barari projet. Ashjar is a group of 21 mega villas in similarly landscaped surroundings but spaced further apart; Seventh Heaven, a stylish seven storey complex of 157 apartments; and The Nest, a collection of 99 four bedroom villas set in a forest environment, each one designed to blend indoor and outdoor living, with an outdoor shower, barbeque area and infinity edge pool.

The Residences, as the 189 grand luxury villas are known, are set out in leaf shaped clusters and have been designed in four different styles: Acacia, Bromellia, Camellia and Dahlia. The architecture is a mix of Islamic and contemporary idioms, and interior and exterior spaces merge together to enhance the outdoor living experience. Sizes range from five to seven bedrooms.

The complex features differently themed botanical gardens with waterways, bridges and paths.

As the salesmen say, ‘This is an address, which must be seen to be believed.’

Al Barari Amenities

Seclusion and opulence are the main attractions here, plus the absence of shops of any kind. But Al Barari has its own gourmet restaurant, a state of the art fitness centre and a residents’ pool and relaxation area. It also boasts the region's largest privately-owned plant nursery.

Al Rabia Tower
Great location and ideal if you have a car.
Temporary neighbours
Brilliant tower in the middle of the sandpit!! The only high rise on the other side of Shk Moh Bin Zayed Road situated in the idyllic Al Barari residence. Beautiful lush entrance, greenery galore and The Farm a beautiful and relaxing place to chill out and have a lazy more… Friday. The building is great with prime views of Downtown Dubai but the negatives are the inconsiderate neighbours of the hotel staffs and the Emirates crew that fail to respect the more permanent residents. Difficult to get public transport unless you have a number of a good Taxi driver but ideal if you have a car. Always great to drive back home too as the traffic is always going from here into Dubai. Global Village is a 2 minute drive so handy as GV on til Easter. Very happy minus the neighbours!!!Show less

Really good place to be
Space, homey feel, view
The smell we sometimes get in the bathroom
You're looking for a good value for money place? This is it. Sure, there are some things that could be better, like the finishings and the quality of some of the materials used, but hey, rents are great and A/C is included! Having a car is must have though... public more… transport is nowhere to be found and hailing a cab on Thursday and Friday nights can be a nightmare. However, neighbours are nice, you hardly hear anyone, there is space for children to play outside, the view is fantastic and it's got a real homey feel. I'm hoping to stay here for a while now. My tower in a nutshell.
The view
Distance from the main parts of Dubai
Al Rabia Tower is situated opposite Global Village in the development of Dubailand. We are literally in the desert but we have the breath-taking view of Downtown Dubai from our balcony! Dubailand has been stated as one of the cheapest places to live in Dubai but I can ensure more… you get more than enough for what you pay.Show less

Days in Al rabia tower- AL barari
Brand new
No public transport
Al Rabia tower stands tall on emirates road with over 200 apartments to offer ranging from 1 to 3 bhks. The best part of the tower is the different layouts they offer in each segment. I love how they have provided a laundry room and a separate store room for more… 1 bhk. The flat is spacious. Although the problems faced are public transport but aside from that I would say it is a good place as it is brand new.Show less

The new tower on the block
The view and location
The finishing of the bathrooms and kitchen cabinets
Although no one has heard of Al Rabia tower, I'm pretty sure everyone has seen it, its the tallest tower on Emirates road on the other side of Global Village. The entrance is through the most green part of Dubai, Al Barari where all you can see on your more… way in and out is just trees, trees and more trees! The location is great because you have easy access to Emirates road going towards Abu Dhabi and soon to have direct access towards Sharjah, but right now to do that you need to take the Global Village U-turn. The tower looks ok from the outside, the area around it is pretty barren with a few desert shrubs, but the view from our 28th floor is absolutely amazing as we can see Burj Al Arab and Burj Khalifa and all of Dubai twinkling at night so I can't wait for New Year's eve! Even the weather on the higher floors are much better than the stifling heat below since it gets quite windy. The services are quite limited with two small supermarkets in the nearby Emirates Airlines buildings and a recently opened small grocery in the tower and a Mama Mia pizza is due to open soon but otherwise a very limited number of restaurants deliver. The positive aspects of the actual apartment are the high ceilings, quite spacious rooms and the many large windows in every rooms making it very bright. The negative aspects are the layout where the design was poorly done giving some apartments a very large bedroom and quite a small living room, some have a split kitchen on either side of you as you walk in to the living room, some have a balcony from the bedroom but not the living room and the layout of the electricity points as well as satellite and phone sockets was definitely not thought through and was almost and after thought in the design. The finishing is quite poor as they really skimped on things like the kitchen cabinets and bathrooms which look quite cheap and dated. we even had to get a shelf made for one of the cabinets because the original one looked as though it was ready to collapse under the weight of a few plates. The cleanliness of the building is slowly getting better as the staff seem very inexperienced, but its quite nice to have maintenance 24/7 in the building. There are no storage spaces so you have to make do with shelves etc. The community in the building is very multinational which is nice, and there is a children's play area in the front which will be nice in the winter but needs some shading, and there are three basement parking levels. Overall though, we're very happy living here! Show less
